WELCOME TEAM

Hospitality/Operations
Set up, clean up, coffee service, tea, communion. Does that list look short? HA! The hospitality/operations team headed up by Trevor and Linzi Welch make our Sunday service happen each week. From putting the chairs into place and preparing the room for Sunday services, setting out the refreshments & signs, to making it look like we had never been there in order to be a blessing to our gracious hosts at Crista - this team of volunteers is the backbone of our Sunday operations. Parking

We have a BIG need in this area. These dedicated guys show up early to set out our parking signs and signs around the campus. Then they help direct the vehicles that flow in minutes before the service to the various parking areas at our campus. The evening team directs parking and then picks up all the signs. Bookstore Team
Headed up by Mike & Faith Carpenter, the bookstore is the place to go for books, CDs, DVDs, and other materials offered for the edification and evangelization of those who attend our campus. This is a members only ministry since you’ll be dealing with money and you should be able to answer basic questions about Mars Hill’s beliefs and programs. Connect Team
The Connect team is comprised of greeters, ushers, serve desk, and information desk volunteers. They are the first point of contact for visitors–acting out the gospel with grace and hospitality and hopefully starting them on the process to becoming plugged in, active members of the body here are Mars Hill, joining us on the mission that Jesus has given us to the north end. Financial Stewards
The Financial Stewards team is looking for a few responsible members to help collect the offering each week, count it, and count attendance. Email shoreline@marshillchurch.org.

PRODUCTION

Video
Our video leads are some of the most important volunteers on our campus. They deliver the sermon to us from the broadcast we receive from Ballard. They are charged with getting our projectors on and set up, setting up PowerPoint, and recording and playing back the sermon. Email shoreline@marshillchurch.org.

PowerPoint
PowerPoint volunteers coordinate with the band leader to make sure that the PowerPoint slides are correct and to make sure that they know how the songs are going to be sung and then drive the PowerPoint during the service. Email shoreline@marshillchurch.org.

Audio Lead
WE REALLY need some more sound board operators. This is another important role on the campus along with the video leads. Sound is the way we deliver the truth that brings people from death to life and it is something that we strive for excellence in every Sunday. Training is available, but experience with sound boards is preferable. Email shoreline@marshillchurch.org.

Audio RecordingThese volunteers capture the band’s sets and live preaching each Sunday and then send their captured audio up to our band podcast. No experience required - should be tech savvy. Email shoreline@marshillchurch.org.

Service Production
This person keeps the service running smoothly and goes through a checklist of tasks to make sure that band, video, audio, lighting, and stage are running properly and on time. Email shoreline@marshillchurch.org

Band Set up/ Breakdown
Up until now our dedicated audio leads have been strapped with this duty after giving their whole day to running our sound board. We would like some able-bodied folks to step up and help the audio team set up and breakdown the band each Sunday. Email shoreline@marshillchurch.org.

Lighting
Operating the lighting on Sundays is a lot easier than it looks! Our lighting lead has set up programs so that all you have to do is push one button about 5 times.
