Vision House Evening of Prayer August 16th

• MH Shoreline and several other Northend chuches are hosting an evening of prayer, refreshments, and fellowship Saturday, Aug. 16th at 6:30pm on the Vision House Jacob’s Well property just off Ballinger Way in Shoreline. Parking is available at Aldercrest Learning Center: 2800 NE 200^th St. Shoreline, WA (shuttles will transport guests back & forth to the property). Vision House Jacob’s Well will include 20 supportive housing units for homeless mothers and their children, on-site child care, and counseling. For more information go to www.vision-house.org.

Crushin’ For a Cause Summer Softball Tournament on August 23rd

• Vision Nationals is teaming up with Mars Hill Sports to continue the MHC tradition of the Summer Softball Tournament. Plus, we’re announcing the addition of an Ultimate Frisbee Tournament to the line-up! On August 23rd, Softball and Ultimate Frisbee players from all over the Puget Sound Region will gather to compete in “Crushin’ for a Cause”. Funds raised from this even will benefit Mars Hill sports ministry and Vision Nationals’ newly established Life Medical Clinic in India. (80% of all proceeds will go to Vision Nationals). Shepherding A Child’s Heart Conference

• Dr. Tedd Tripp, author of the best selling book Shepherding a Child’s Heart, is coming to Mars Hill September 19-20th to lead an exciting conference on how to speak to and engage your child’s heart for Jesus. This event will be held at five MH campuses simultaneously, including Shoreline. Click HERE to register for this event and for childcare at Shoreline. Don’t procrastinate!! MEMBERSHIP Applications

• Just because we’re not wearing T-shirts every Sunday anymore doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten about all you folks that went through recent doctrine series and have begun the Membership Application process.  Currently their are 82 of you with only 12 having finished the application and a few new members have recently been approved.  If you need ANY help or have ANY questions please feel free to email shoreline@marshillchurch.org and we’ll work to help you through process as best we can.

August 13th – Men’s Morning Prayer

Shoreline Wednesday Night Summer Barbecues

• Weekly from 6-9pm at Edmonds City Park through August 27th. These BBQs will be picnic style so bring your own meat to throw on the grill and food for the family. There’s fun for everyone including kid’s events for ages 3-9 from 7-8pm. Contact shoreline@marshillchurch.org for more info.
