Back To School Supplies Drive - One More Week!!

• MH Shoreline will be collecting school supplies and gear to benefit local schools this Sunday August 10th in Schirmer Auditorium. Help demonstrate the gospel with our community by donating towards this effort. Click here for more info on this Shoreline School District event. Go here for a complete list of supplies needed. Vision House Evening of Prayer August 16th

• MH Shoreline and several other Northend chuches are hosting an evening of prayer, refreshments, and fellowship Saturday, Aug. 16th at 6:30pm on the Vision House Jacob’s Well property just off Ballinger Way in Shoreline. Parking is available at Aldercrest Learning Center: 2800 NE 200^th St. Shoreline, WA (shuttles will transport guests back & forth to the property). Vision House Jacob’s Well will include 20 supportive housing units for homeless mothers and their children, on-site child care, and counseling. For more information go to www.vision-house.org.

Shepherding A Child’s Heart Conference

• Dr. Tedd Tripp, author of the best selling book Shepherding a Child’s Heart, is coming to Mars Hill September 19-20th to lead an exciting conference on how to speak to and engage your child’s heart for Jesus. This event will be held at five MH campuses simultaneously, including Shoreline. Click HERE to register for this event and for childcare at Shoreline. Don’t procrastinate!! Shoreline Wednesday Night Summer Barbecues

• Weekly from 6-9pm at Edmonds City Park through August 27th. These BBQs will be picnic style so bring your own meat to throw on the grill and food for the family. There’s fun for everyone including kid’s events for ages 3-9 from 7-8pm. Contact shoreline@marshillchurch.org for more info.

Sunday After Service Hospitality

• Gather with fellow Shoreline peeps for snacks and fellowship after services on Sundays through August. WE NEED COMMUNITY GROUPS OR INDIVIDUALS TO DONATE FOOD FOR THESE EVENTS! RSVP here to bring snacks/food for next Sunday, August 10th! Email shoreline@marshillchurch.org for more info.

August 11th-15th - Shoreline VBS 2008, Register HERE!

• The Shoreline Kid’s Ministry is putting on 5 days of adventure, excitement, and straight-up Vacation Bible School fun for kids ages 3-9 as they learn about Jesus and the Truth. The dates are August 11-15th, 9am-Noon, at Edmonds City Park. Children and families are strongly encouraged to invite friends from their neighborhoods and/or surrounding community. WE NEED HELP!!! Despite the push for involvement and membership, many of our service teams are suffering from very low volunteer involvement. There is a current list of needs posted on The City (click here).
