Rock the Flock in Shoreline!
Written by Pastor Joe Day
Mars Hill Church Shoreline is a city within a city seeking to glorify God. Every city has it’s own musical language made by its people, for its people. If we seek to glorify God by engaging our city, then we need to make some music. That’s where you come in.

If you are a talented musician, songwriter, or think you could lead a band, then Mars Hill Shoreline would like to meet you. Currently, Shoreline has 3 Sunday services; two in the morning, one in the evening. Ideally, we’d have 4 or 5 bands from Shoreline rotating through Shoreline services. As of today, we have only one.
Additionally, serving as a musician is a really exciting part of reaching our community for Jesus. Singing together is a way that the entire church joins together to glorify God. Doing this in a fresh and engaging way is a major aspect of what draws people to Mars Hill.
If you are interested in serving as a musician or band leader, then you are invited to a church-wide event on Monday, January 28th, called “Making the Band.” This will be held at the Paradox in Ballard at 7:00pm. It’s not an audition, so don’t bring your instrument. Click here or email joel@marshillchurch.org for more information.

Bands rock, we need bands. If we could get some shoreline folk to show the love it would be awesome. The shoreline campus is growing fast and we may need to go to a 4th service and when we do that, we will need more bands so we don’t burn out the band we have. If you are experienced in any kind of music there may be a place for you. Don’t miss this event!

Ideally, how experienced would you want a drummer to be, like how many years or so of experience?
